Walkaholic

I didn't spell the word wrongly, I meant it that way.. a new term that I have bestowed my mom.

It is incredible how she never got sick of going out every single day! More amazingly, how can she not feel tired when a 2 years old toddler is in tow?!

It is starting to piss me when each day my mom's out with Rianne, and get home past Rianne's evening shower time and bedtime too! Tell me, what good does this daily going out do for Rianne? She showers late, sleeps late and wakes up early in the morning with an already intended thought of a trip out of the house!!

For me, I yearn for the chance to be away from work and be able to rest fully, at the comfort of my own house. And here we have a granny who practically spends everyday out of the house, until when it's time to hit the sack.

Just now, I yelled at my mom for again planning to go out of the house. Apparently to Beach Road, where she was there yesterday, the day before, and 2 days ago! Honestly, it has got on my nerves so much that I wished I can padlock her at home!

I wonder if it could be that she's afraid that she will be grounded at home when she's no longer agile, hence she wants to make sure she go out while she still can. This is definitely such a wrong mentality, as she will be just bringing foward that day much sooner by walking, walking and walking everyday..

Irritation

Today's like the worst date out of those we've been on in our courtship! And I reckon maybe the worst day ever on planet earth!

9.25pm SG time, a massive jam is at the heart of the country where buses were halted and cannot move forward.. There were more than 20 buses stuck in 2 rows of traffic and that never happened before! This was strange and when I tried to read the news to find out more about this scene, the Internet doesn't load.. Kinda struck me like stigmata and like doom's falling onto the world any minute now!!

If I ever make it home, I will be able to narrate the story..

Job Satisfaction

It has always been reckoned that the hardest intangible benefit to attain in one's working life, is job satisfaction. This, however, has never been my struggle.

You can say maybe I am just too easily contented, but don't self contentment give rise to happiness?! Or at least, when you like what you are doing, you will definitely be happy isn't it? It is such a pain if you don't enjoy what you do, as you not only are miserable yourself; but you also spread the negative vibes to the whole team.

I was bonded by the diploma my company have so gladly sponsored me on. The condition, I have to continue being employed for 6 months after I graduate, which is now over. I could have just thrown the white flag, and seek happiness elsewhere. But the loyalty to my reporting manager is the biggest stay-factor, followed by the many relationships with employees that I have built up over the past 4 years.

So, for now I will not look elsewhere.. unless someone forces me to.
