A life so predestined..

It is the first day of the Chinese Lunar New Day, and here I have my post titled so, ermmmm, pessitimistic and resignant to fate.. what's wrong?!

No, it is not me who is ill-fated but the poor Papa D. News of him having a brain tumor at stage 4, and having left with nothing much time than just 6 months to 1 year; is just SHOCKING to hear!

Well, the NF disorder that he was born with, was exactly what developed the cancer. However, it seems like extremely unfair for someone to go away at the age of only 28.. but life is just predestined already, isn't it?

Many try to find solace with the Almighty, and say their prayers in hope of seeking a cure. Others just want to fight against the negative forces and to emerge as a winner in the end. Whichever option taken, I must say we all have to take our hats off and admire the being for owning all that courage and will to perserve!

There's nothing much an outsider can do to ease or stop any pain going through the one suffering, and that is just a fact. Be it how much care and sympathy friends and family may have for the sickly, it is still up to the fighting spirit the person has to help him/herself. You can't really ask an expecting mother to be there, comfort, and provide a 'resting' habour for the person right? Especially when this mama-to-be is getting more & more snappy as her pregnancy goes into the final trimester, her feet all swollen and painful as she walk, and her nose never been broader like this!

The Chinese has got this saying, "Every family has its own problems"; and it's only the family who can pull themselves up and out of the rut, and not anybody else. I don't ask for a better life of comfort and riches.. I only want to be happy each day, as I live my life to the fullest, being the best daughter to Annie Mummy; and the best mother to my precious Junior..
