I was woken up by my incredibly annoying mom!! Her nonsensical behaviour really irks me, and she has got no idea how frustrating it is for someone in their sleep to be waking up unwillingly, to listen to her crap!!
I am more than 100% sure that the 'rag & bone' spirit my grandma has, runs in her blood. In fact, this is such an obvious trait in my aunt too, that I cannot not believe how my grandma has 'ruined' both her daughters and made them Madam Rag & Bone.
It was so hard cleaning up the house with my mom, as we each have our ways of tidying up things, and our own concept of reusable stuff. I don't believe everything is reusable; especially when the items have already outlived their lifespans.
Take shoes, for example. They are as good as gone forever when they don't look the same as how you bought them initially. Throwing away old shoes which are not wearable anymore, doesn't threaten me at all. In fact I am happy that old shoes are not given a new lease of life by cobblers, as their ROI may have been reached and so pointless to revive them with a cost.
Ok, enough of shoes and spring cleaning. I need to get back to sleep, and prepare myself for a tough day at work tomorrow.
This is a story of how I am transforming from the ever-so-fun loving Regina Baby, to Mama R.. and the life account of the most important being - little Junior.

Push-over
I hate to resort to such measure, as I am never the impulsive and insensible sort. However, when people push me over my limits, I will stand up for myself and fight for my due deserves.
I am struggling to come to terms with what I would never imagine a co-worker, a team member, a personal friend, would do to me. An act which only the person who committed it, will be able to justify the reasons for it. All I can say is, I feel stabbed; stabbed from behind.
I am not afraid to say out loud that, it was nothing but a despicable move to climb ahead of me. If the whole objective is to shine and be the one & only star in the sky, then you shouldn't be working for anyone; let alone working in a team.
I will definitely throw up if I sighted the words "team player" anywhere on your resume.. and I don't assume it is too hard to know why.
Well, good luck for now and I am absolutely sure that you & me, never will be friends again.

Walkaholic
I didn't spell the word wrongly, I meant it that way.. a new term that I have bestowed my mom.
It is incredible how she never got sick of going out every single day! More amazingly, how can she not feel tired when a 2 years old toddler is in tow?!
It is starting to piss me when each day my mom's out with Rianne, and get home past Rianne's evening shower time and bedtime too! Tell me, what good does this daily going out do for Rianne? She showers late, sleeps late and wakes up early in the morning with an already intended thought of a trip out of the house!!
For me, I yearn for the chance to be away from work and be able to rest fully, at the comfort of my own house. And here we have a granny who practically spends everyday out of the house, until when it's time to hit the sack.
Just now, I yelled at my mom for again planning to go out of the house. Apparently to Beach Road, where she was there yesterday, the day before, and 2 days ago! Honestly, it has got on my nerves so much that I wished I can padlock her at home!
I wonder if it could be that she's afraid that she will be grounded at home when she's no longer agile, hence she wants to make sure she go out while she still can. This is definitely such a wrong mentality, as she will be just bringing foward that day much sooner by walking, walking and walking everyday..

Irritation
Today's like the worst date out of those we've been on in our courtship! And I reckon maybe the worst day ever on planet earth!
9.25pm SG time, a massive jam is at the heart of the country where buses were halted and cannot move forward.. There were more than 20 buses stuck in 2 rows of traffic and that never happened before! This was strange and when I tried to read the news to find out more about this scene, the Internet doesn't load.. Kinda struck me like stigmata and like doom's falling onto the world any minute now!!
If I ever make it home, I will be able to narrate the story..

Job Satisfaction
It has always been reckoned that the hardest intangible benefit to attain in one's working life, is job satisfaction. This, however, has never been my struggle.
You can say maybe I am just too easily contented, but don't self contentment give rise to happiness?! Or at least, when you like what you are doing, you will definitely be happy isn't it? It is such a pain if you don't enjoy what you do, as you not only are miserable yourself; but you also spread the negative vibes to the whole team.
I was bonded by the diploma my company have so gladly sponsored me on. The condition, I have to continue being employed for 6 months after I graduate, which is now over. I could have just thrown the white flag, and seek happiness elsewhere. But the loyalty to my reporting manager is the biggest stay-factor, followed by the many relationships with employees that I have built up over the past 4 years.
So, for now I will not look elsewhere.. unless someone forces me to.

Ms Fiancée - Me!!!
Eventhough no proposal's made yet by my beloved, I am still over the moon!
Yesterday was one of the those surreal moments I ever had being with KL in the past 6 months. We have been discussing and wondering if we should be applying for a flat soon, considering how long it takes for BTO (Built to Order) flats to be ready.
So, it felt just like the right thing to do, when the launch of new BTO flats were announced on Thursday. He was the one who initiated and did all the research about the available locations in this round of BTOs. We concluded that Yishun will be the best among the lot, and at least, more favourable to us and our families. And when I said favourable to our families, I really have their interests at heart.
Not my mom nor KL's family is aware of our intention. We do not want to reveal anything until we are balloted to select for the flats. Right now, it is still pretty much waiting, and fantasizing about our dream home.
We went checking out the location at Yishun where our potential house might be. It was such a great feeling knowing that I am going to build a home with this guy who's so much in love with me & Rianne. He was equally happy when we went scouting and peeping (yes, we really did peered into people's flats!) at the previous BTO flats, which are now ready and occupied.
We walked around the estate and to the MRT station, to get a gauge of the proximity to the train station. The walk was tiring, but I know both of us ain't at all exhausted. We were smiling and feeling all too excited about the plot of land where building works are just commencing.. ;)

PMS
I never believe in PMS, and I certainly ain't a victim of PMS.. or at least I thought I am not, until just now.
I was already cranky since my mom left me alone with Rianne early this Friday morning. The only reason why I was home instead of at work, is because I have fallen ill; quite badly ill as a matter of fact.
The cold from Wednesday night did not go away, but got worse. I was completely knocked down by the flu bug, sneezing and coughing away. I wasn't able to get off bed at all, not until Rianne dragged me out; she practically did that!
I had to go to the doctor, but with Rianne around? It was just so hard. KL offered to come by after work to bring me to the clinic, and I appreciate this kind gesture of his. However, it must be the PMS thing that makes me unreasonably unhappy with almost every single thing he does at my place.
His unwillingness to share with me about his interview, his mean words about Rianne, his refusal to stay over, all triggered my rage. I actually chased him home even before it was time to (he had said 11pm). I was just pissed with him sitting there, refusing everything I wanted for him. I didn't even stand at the corridor waving goodbye to him, like I always does with a reluctant heart to see him go.
I did peep, however, at him from outside of my flat, walking to the MRT station. I got more sore when I saw him busy on his mobile phone as he walked, but nothing came onto my phone. He wasn't texting me, obviously!
We are both in agreement of not probing into the privacy of who we SMS, or talk to, on our mobiles. So, I never brought that up when I call him eventually. I told him I was angry and unhappy, and even said I hate him for the silliest reason like not staying over at my place. I wonder what got into me?!!! Ehhhhh, it was PMS. Period.
Hahahaha..
