Because I need to know..

I am asked to remove this post.. maybe the message sent by the other person was a tad too embrrassing to be published to the whole world, or maybe it was my reply to his message that was the insult.

Regardless, I feel that I have my rights for my own speech or words to be told in any manner, including to be on this blog. Hence, I am still keeping the part of my message.. (Names were striked or kept anonymous to show respect)

"I am really sorry to hear about your condition.. however it kinda strike me that both you and XXX have the same disorder, but only you seem to have it harder. Pls try to seek treatment or at least, diagnosis (of whatever you may be speculating) in UK first, before making any major move in your life. It may now seem a bit unrealistic for you to even come to SG with your current situation, unless you are ready to spend money (minimum, thousands) on getting treated here!

It is not that I am not showing concern or ain't bothered by what's going on for you. You need to step up for yourself and know that "every household has their own troubles", or in other words; if you think you are suffering the most, there are people out there who may be living the last of their days now! Everyone has their own problems to face and deal with, and I am only hoping u learn to do it with courage and determination, rather than just replying on empathy or assistance from others. You still have your family.. family will not foresake you, like how it is for my pregnancy case here.

When I first found out that I am pregnant, I try to be calm and take it in my stride (how many girls can do that honestly?), and think of solutions rather than to dwell in unhappiness or desperation.. i guess it should be the same for you. Think of solutions and discuss methods with your family, and not speculating how bad the condition will develop and worse, to say that you might even die tomorrow!! That's absolute pessimisticity one could ever have.. declaring death even before it is granted onto u!

i'm sorry if my words may sound harsh, but those are just to highlight to you that life is never smooth-sailing.. be it urs in UK, or mine here in SG. it's just how you deal with the challenges or difficulties that may get in ur way.. Lastly, you could seek help from the association which you told me about.. I believe it is there to assist people who may be affected by the disorder and have problems dealing with it.."

Gimme! Gimme! Gimme my fortune!

Nobody's gonna believe it.. I had done something which is so not-me at the recent workshop that I was involved in.

I actually allowed my palm(s) to be read by a fortune teller we hired as an entertainment source, for a dinner last Wednesday at Indochine, Clarke Quay. I wasn't sure in the first place if I want a stranger to tell me some unknown (or better referred as 'unforeseen') predictions of my future, just by touching my hands.

My ever-so-kind boss jumped at this chance to have her fortune told, and she then encouraged me to go next. Well, if my boss who isn't supersitious nor a believer of non-scientific stuff like this can have her palms read; then what is there for me to be afraid of?!

I gave my hands to the lady fortune teller (in her mid-40s, from the look of it), who 'operated' at a small 'booth' in the private room for our dinner. No questions asked from her, not even the essential information like my name, age, marital status, etc, etc.. She went straight into telling me my health. Apparently, she saw that my health would be fairly well until my late 30s when I could be very ill. However, she added that I would eventually recover and by looking at my palm (maybe those weird curvy lines were speaking to her!), I would not suffer from any memory loss til my death. Hooray, I would not be Senile Regina!!

Hmmm, the most interesting part (I said interesting, not the climax of the fortune-telling..) of her predictions was about my career. Can you believe she said I would have a switch in my career? It could be a change in the work industry, or even the field of work! This is forecasted to happen when I am about 36, and this new career path will bring me to greater heights; so much higher than I would have imagined! My wealth would thus be on a roll too with me progressing well on the corporate ladder.. Good news eh? Money, money, money!!

Then, now comes the climax.. Ready, people?! Ok, the fortune teller said that my love life isn't as smooth as how my career would go. Well, fair enough; I have indeed been through lots of relationships, and til this age, I am still unhitched! That's not the worrying thing.. It is predicted that if I am getting married or am in a relationship currently, it would all be over in about 5 years time! My right guy (the one who will walk with me til the end of my life) would only appear when I am 36, and my fortune speaks of a definite marriage with this person.

At that juncture, many thoughts raced through my head.. I once said to myself that I would be a happy and eligible bachelorette for good. But, with little Junior stepping into my life now; it means an entire different story. I would most likely get married to the co-creator of Junior, be a wife and mother and everything else of a family follows.. However, is this what I really want now? Can I say it with a fair conscience that this is the kind of lifestyle I truly desire? I'm afraid not..

I am sorry to say that this post unfortunately has to end with a sad, and uncertain note like this. I, myself can't even say it to nobody else but myself, that I am seeking a future that I really am wishing for..

Maybe it is good for me to not say anything to myself, but instead, let my heart speak for itself.

Little Miss Frustration

You may call me 'Little Miss Frustration', or 'Little Miss Bad Temper'.. No other names can fit me better, with my recent mood swings hitting a peak!

It's usually my mummy who triggered the devilish side of me, and when that happens; everyone else better stay far, far away! I sometimes wonder does ANNIE MUMMY just mean well, or is she actually cursing Junior? (Note to little Junior, this is not telling you to hate your granny; but something Mama R just have to let it out..)

My mum forbids me to do this, do that. The latest and most annoying one is, I shouldn't be watching 'Miami Ink' at all! WHAT?! WHY?! WHY CAN'T I WATCH MY FAVE PROGRAM?! That is totally absurd, isn't it?

My cousin, Robin, is known for his sloppiness, laziness (to tidy and pack his own living space), and inconsideration for others.. especially people living under the same roof with him. Every evening/night (depending if I have class or not) I would return to a home with zero ventilation! None of the kitchen windows will be opened, and my cousin would be sitting right in front of the TV with the fan blowing at top speed at his body!

I flared up and was complaining to my mum about it, and she said I should just let it go.. "Just be gracious and open the windows if he don't do it." That got me even more pissed, and to make things worse; she added "It is not good for your baby if you keep losing your temper like this."

Excuse me, did I ask for that to happen? Did I want to lose my temper and anger myself for no reason? OF COURSE NOT! All these happened because people were inconsiderate to me first, and hello, I am an expectant mum ok?! If they can't be kind to a pregnant woman, then don't expect to be treated kindly from her!

Imagine a healthy middle-aged man fighting over to cook instant noodles first with an expectant mother.. somemore with the help of my mum! I am all starved after lesson, and ANNIE MUMMY and her boyfriend have had all the time in the world to cook and eat before I got home; but yet they snatched the cooking pot from me! This is really infuriating!

Anyway, I did cooked my instant noodles after my mum was done with cooking for her 'never-got-to-do-anything-himself' boyfriend. My late dinner is finished now, and it spells only one thing (apart from all the frustrations!). That is I am fully exhausted already, and can't wait to collapse right onto my bed!

Zzzzzzzz.... To be continued...

COACH Splurge!

It ain't too long before Ms Liao leave for the States.. ermm, is it Florida? Darn it, my brain's keeping all shit and nothing of importance!

Anyway, the thing about X's US trip is, she and her colleague will be going to the COACH store; and she's so kind to offer to help us get whatever we want from there!

I am a fan of COACH bags, and I am not ashamed to even admit that I once bought an imitated one of its 'Signature Stripe Satchel' in pink at a night bazaar in KL. Reason for doing that, I was reluctant to splurge on the real stuff!

Years later, I decided I shouldn't be harsh nor mean to my own goody self by using imitation goods.. and that's when it all began..

Hmmm, I'm not exactly that wealthy to be splurging on Louis Vuitton, Prada, or Loewe. Maybe just the Kate Spade, Christian Dior, Gucci and COACH level.. So, when this fabulous chance for me to lay my hands on anything COACH comes knocking, I rather die than to throw it out of the window! (Honestly, this is an example of how brand-addicts behave and are, pyschologically..)

You can see from the below pictures how lovely those baggies are, and how can any girl resist them?!

Well, I got myself into a dilemma on the bag to get X buy for me.. they are both soooo pretty! (ermmm, they are of the same collection though. Heehee!)

The Newest Mosaic Zoe

Gallery Signature Mosaic Tote

See, I am not lying right? How hard it is to choose between the 2 lovelies! Well, I think I might be more drawn to the latter as it is longer in length but not too tall in height.. meaning it will be easier for me (a shortie) to stick my hands into the bag and ransack! Also, I reckon it will make a great baby bag with its size!

Ok, there is another item that caught my eye.. might be worth the splurge if the quality isn't inferior. Here it is..

It's my fave colour of accessories, GOLD!

Oops.. Was the tearing of the cheque from my cheque book that loud?!

I am prepared for the splurge! Bring it on.. heehee!!

M.I.A. Girl

I am alive, yes, I am.. just Missing In Action from my blog for some 2 weeks now..

Well, I wouldn't blame you if you are mad with the person who caused my 'disappearance', though she is my 2nd fave person in the whole of my company.. Gee, so much about liking somebody!

I had been running around office and Sentosa where I was involved in the long-anticipated training workshop for all the big shots. Not that I was part of the training team (I wish I was!), but rather the backroom support and logistics.. in fact, pre-work began even before I was away sick for 1 month, and going on every single day since. Now, that's what I call BUSY! (Inspired by the classic hits compilation 'Now that's what I call Music')

It was finally over when I stepped into Sentosa this morning for the 5th consecutive day! Stuff were packed, lifted (by me, who else!) and picked up by DHL to go to our different offices right away. Good luck to India and Hong Kong, and have fun sorting out the numerous boxes!

Having been out of the blog-scene for so long, of course my contributions are gonna flow out of the rim. However, I wouldn't want every one of you to suffer from stiff eyeballs and necks from reading a super long post! Thus, I will write my stories in various sections and I assure, you never would get bored with any of it!

Cheers!

Sick again..

What is wrong again this time?? Throwing up in my 10th week? Shouldn't the nausea be long over by now?

Looks like the only old-fashioned word to describe how I am feeling now is, TERRIBLE!!

I am not even eating properly, no intake of food but yet gakking everything out.. Losing sleep is another thing that I least want to think about now, but it too is happening. WHY, WHY, WHY??

Jeannie says it is common for first preggers in their first trimester, but honestly, I have seen my sister and sis-in-law managing so well in their pregnancies; until I am starting to feel the unfairness! Is little Junior punishing Mama R because we had brought him/her into this world without proper family planning? Is it an act of protest because Mama R hasn't been eating nutritiously? Or is little Junior angry because he/she has never heard Papa D talk to him/her before?

Aware of my situation, Papa D was very concerned and felt so bad for not being able to do much about it. He wants to take away the nauseousness from me, and make him the person vomitting instead of me.. how sweet..

Guess what, all the McDonalds (a quarter eaten grilled chicken foldover, 8pcs chicken nuggets, half a pack of fries, and a completely untouched corn cup!) on the dinning table are going to go to waste again; as I am really unable to stomach any of it!

Argghhh.. as I am typing this, I just threw up in my vomit basket beside me.. God knows how many times I have to keep doing this again tonight?!

Pictures Galore!

This is so infuriating! I don't have all the beautiful pictures of ermmm.., ANYTHING! until my friends tagged me on Facebook, or out of pity, emailed me one or two pics that I still look reasonably fab.

That's all because I don't own a digital camera! Years back when I was still with my ex-boyfriend, I had always bugged him for 'permission' to buy one. Him, being a thrifty person, thought there was no real need for me to have a camera when he already own one. Thus, my yearning for a digital camera has been left hanging on all along..

I should have bought one myself after not together with him anymore, but such an IT-moron like me shouldn't be shopping for a tech-gadget alone! It is risky, coz I might just end up spending hundreds buying something which the dishonest salesmen are told to sell (the particular model might be obselete soon, or it may just have some defects in the batch so need to clear)!

Anyway, so much for complaining and blaming on others for not buying a camera.. here are some photos which I really like to share.. *Note: Only for age 21 and above, some nudity scenes. (hahahaha!!)

1) Jeannie's Sweet 30!
2) Kisses for the birthday girl!
3) J & Mama R - Can anyone believe we are 30?!
4) The finger loop of TRUST!

Front view of my stommie.. Normal looking.

First sight of my baby bump!

Look at the spillage over to my back.. Scary!

Last but not least, instruction to Papa D.. Please remember to bring your 10 megapixel digi cam in Oct!
